CZECHIA, WE MEET AGAIN!
A few weeks later, fresher than in the previous competition, DR-04 started its engine for the first time just before Formula Student Czech Republic! As you may know, this was not our first rodeo in the Czech Republic, but you’ll soon find out that this year was like no other.
This time, having learned from FS Italy, we improved the car and even had time to test it out before leaving for Czechia, as we were sure that this time we’ll get to take her out for a ride on the competitional circuit. And we were right. We had time to pass all the tests and qualify for the dynamic events which ended up as the best learning experience for us. It wasn’t perfect by any means, we encountered a few difficulties along the way, but we were already on cloud 9 just by being there, so we didn’t take the fall too hard. Last year we wouldn’t have dreamt about passing scrutineering, and look at us now, so it’s all about small steps, but we’re getting there!
Even if we didn’t accumulate the necessary points to qualify further in the dynamic events, we excelled again at static events. <- cine a scris asta ar trebui ars pe rug. PE RUG!
Our team was always lovely in the statics but we killed it this time! Out of 15 teams, we got 9th place in the Engineering Design event, 7th place in the Cost and Manufacturing event, and [drum rolls please] 1st place in the Bussiness Plan event!
